The weather is gradually getting warmer and the season of beer gardens has arrived to Japan! Here are 5 stylish beer gardens that are easily accessible from the heart of Tokyo. Make a toast with a cold beer while enjoying the early summer breeze!
1. Shinjuku Sky Beer Garden 2019
Shinjuku Sky Beer Garden 2019 is just a 4-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, and recreates the atmosphere of an Asian resort with decorative plants and parasols. It opens at 11:00 am, so it can be visited for lunch in-between shopping.
The Lunch Course offers 10 dishes such as salad, potato wedges, a BBQ plate, and pilaf rice, and comes with an all-you-can-drink menu for only 2,000 JPY (incl. tax)! It is also served between 9:00 pm and 2:00 am for the same price, so you can even indulge in it after dinner.
As a side note, the beer garden has a retractable roof, so there is no problem even if it starts raining! Being able to enjoy a beer garden without having to care about the weather is the best.

Their SUMMER★CARNIVAL Course (5,000 JPY (incl. tax)) offers a genuine Chinese menu of 12 dishes, including yodare chicken, stir-fried shrimp with chili sauce, and mapo tofu, and comes with a 120-minute all-you-can-drink menu with 50 kinds of beverages. The location also has a terrace with a roof to protect it during rainy weather.
Iidabashi can be reached in under 15 minutes from Shinjuku or Tokyo by train and is also a convenient station for sightseeing. LaQua, a complex that unites a spa with an amusement park and a shopping mall, and Kagurazaka, an elegant district popular for its stone-paved alleys, can be found in its vicinity, so you can enjoy the surroundings of the beer garden as well. Kaila is a beer garden with an atmosphere that resembles a resort and where authentic Hawaiian cuisine can be enjoyed. It is located on a rooftop terrace on the 9th floor and its charm is the sense of freedom that makes it hard to believe it is close to Shibuya Station.
Their Beer Garden Plan, which includes a 2-hour all-you-can-drink (L.O. at 90 min), is a 8-dish course that lets guests choose between 4 main dishes, including sliced skirt steak. Moreover, garlic edamame and herb cajun fried potatoes can be ordered as many times as you want, so there is no risk of going hungry or without snacks. 4. KAZE TO MIDORI NO BEERGARDEN
The theme of this beer garden is Mexican cuisine! Starting from salsa, Mexican-style potatoes, and buffalo chicken, there are many spicy side dishes that go well with beer.
The 2-Hour All-You-Can-Drink Plan (1,800 JPY (incl. tax)) is available until June 9th, and the 2-Hour All-You-Can-Drink & All-You-Can-Eat Plan (3,900 JPY (incl. tax)) will start from June 18th at 6:00 pm.
Tokyo Dome, located near Suidobashi Station, can be easily reached by train in around 15 minutes from Shinjuku or Tokyo.
