When you go on a family trip, you want to make the children happy, right? Here are a few hotels in Osaka that have kids' programs and other facilities aimed at children.
1. Shin-Osaka Station Hotel Annex
Shin-Osaka Station Hotel Annex has a Welcome Baby plan available for families with children 3 years or younger. The rooms are made for families with babies to be able to stay there without worry, and necessary items like diapers, children's toilet seat, milk warmer, bottle sterilizer, baby food, toys, and more, are all prepared in advance. There is a microwave in the room, so it's also convenient to be able to heat up baby food. All the outlets are covered and the furniture was chosen with consideration for safety, so parents can relax in the rooms. The staff are all experienced with child-rearing, so they created this room using the opinions of parents raising infants and toddlers in mind.
2. World Village
This is a lodging facility in the theme park and petting zoo in Minami-Osaka's World Ranch that is made up of various buildings, including log houses. The lodging fee is included in the park entrance fee, so before and after you check-in you can enjoy spending time with animals for as long as you'd like. There are 1,500 types of animals of 140 species, and there are many activities available, including feeding them, horseback riding, collecting fresh eggs, walking goats, and more. After you play, why not have barbecue for dinner at the lodging area's rest house? After the sun goes down, you can enjoy the view of the Osaka Plain from the open-air bath.

3. Spa World: Onsen From Around the World
If you stay at Spa World's hotel, all of the plans include access to the 16 types of hot springs from 11 countries and the indoor pool called Spa Pool! It's a very popular place that is full of locals on the weekend. The 16 types of pools have toys and facilities so that people of all ages, from babies to the elderly, can play, and the indoor KIDDY PARK for children is also quite popular. Since it's an indoor facility, you can play without influence from the weather or season. It's easy to access to and from major sightseeing areas, so it's recommended as both a base for tourism as well as an amusement hotel.
4. Hotel Keihan Universal City
This hotel is in an amazing location just a 2 minute walk away from Universal Studios Japan! This is a popular hotel with families that want to play as much as possible at USJ. All the hotel rooms are decorated with one of 4 Hollywood themes. The second the elevator arrives, both kids and adults get excited. Also, there are plenty of photography spots, such as in the entrance or on the 3rd floor, so you can take commemorative photos. There are locations that only people staying in the hotel can enjoy, so don't forget to check those out. This is a hotel where you can enjoy everything down to the hotel room while still feeling the lingering emotions from USJ.
5. Hotel Agora Osaka Moriguchi
This hotel has a summer-only family plan (until September 30th, 2016). One child up to 12 years old can stay for free! However, there's no children's bed, so they must sleep with their parents. A delicious Japanese and Western breakfast buffet is available at the all-day dining and lounge The Loop. (Children staying for free must pay for breakfast, which is 750 JPY for children from 4-12 years old.) You can start your day in an open space with a high ceiling for a lovely morning at this restaurant. This hotel is just one minute walk away from Moriguchi-shi Station on the Keihan Main Line, so it's perfect for accessing Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. Why not be fully satisfied with your trip and stay here?
We hope you'll make the best memories with your children during your Osaka trip!
