A Spare Rib Joint with Ribs that Can Be Eaten with Chopsticks
The spare ribs at Tonka Tonka 80's is made with a proprietary technique so that the meat falls off the bones with chopsticks. These spare ribs, popular for their soft texture, come in nine flavors including plain and spicy curry. The restaurant has a full drinks menu as well, including approximately 30 types of wines and Belgian beer.
Assorted Pickles Plate (photo back・421 JPY) includes six chef's selection of 13 types of pickles. At the front is the Plain Spare Rib Finger (421 JPY/each). Wines by the glass start at 626 JPY.
The first floor is all counter seating. The spacious second floor has tables.
A Wide Variety of Creative Dishes to Enjoy Sake With
Kobachiya is a bar where you can enjoy a variety of dishes served under the concept of "choinomi, choitabe" (small drinks, small bites). The owner is committed not only to good food, but also the quality of the tableware, which is Shigaraki ware made on special order by Godaime Yasubei. The Shigaraki ware goes beautifully with not just seafood, but also items cooked with Japanese Black wagyu and Ise Akadori chicken.
The Zeitaku Nikusui of Japanese Black Wagyu with Bonito Flavors (photo back・626 JPY) has a 70g piece of rib roast. The balance of sea urchin and meat flavors is outstanding in the Temari Sushi of Japanese Black Wagyu and Fire Roasted Sea Urchin (front・950 JPY).
Many people come here as their second or third stop.
Enjoy Smoked Food and Unique Tempura!
Yoidore Kujira has an extensive menu based mainly on smoked food and tempura. At the standing bar at the front of the shop, you can taste not just the standards, but also unique tempura such as mixed tempura of sakura shrimp and coriander and meat and potatoes tempura.
The creative oyako (parent and child) tempuras, such as Salmon Tempura and Flash Smoked Salmon Roe (photo front・248 JPY), Camembert and Dry-Cured Beef (middle・302 JPY) and Daisendori Chicken and Rano Egg Sauce (back・226 JPY) are popular.
The front of the restaurant is a standing bar, and the back has table seating.

When the owner of Bokkoku Kaitendori Ryori opened this restaurant serving his own take on Mexican chicken, it became an instant hit. Now, there are four restaurants in the city. It is full every day with customers enjoying chicken tacos. It also offers a wide selection of Mexican drinks, such as tequila.
The Assorted Bubble Plate (photo front・2,808 JPY/bird) that serves three to five people comes with plenty of toppings. The frozen margaritas, such as the Mango (back・702 JPY) are also very popular.

KOTeTSU is a bar that specializes in pork food. The pork used here is the Nanshu Natural Pork from Kagoshima that is raised eating tapioca. The pork, which is characterized by the sweetness of its fat, goes perfectly with rose wine. Many people are surprised by how good it is and end up becoming repeat customers.
Both the Roast Pork (photo front・1,360 JPY) and Carpaccio of Pork Filet (back・1,000 JPY) are cooked at low temperatures to achieve softness and juiciness.

Yamamoto is a standing bar/bistro that prices its drinks at 390 JPY or less and food at 500 JPY or less under the motto of offering "quality items at low prices!" The food menu includes standards such as Roast Beef of Japanese Black Wagyu to unique dishes such as Ahijo of Beef Tongue Shabu Shabu and Smoked Marinated Mackerel.
The Self-Proclaimed Osaka's Cheapest Raclette Cheese (500 JPY), that is poured on a baguette right in front of your eyes, is quite voluminous.
The first floor, where the menu on the wall is notable, has a standing counter. There is table seating on the second floor.
A Crustacean Bar Where You Can Get Fresh Lobster by Weight
The Tenma Branch of orb is a crustacean bar where you can get Canadian lobster by weight (600 JPY/100g) and enjoy it with Sauce Américaine, truffle salt, or garlic butter. Other dishes, such as the ahijo and fritters, are full of crustaceans too!
The Ajillo of Shrimp and Lotus Root is served with a tasty shrimp infused oil (back・734 JPY). The Lobster Dry-Cured Ham (front・842 JPY) has a concentration of umami flavors and a texture that seems to melt in the mouth.
The tank near the entrance is full of lobsters.
A Wok-Wielding Chinese Crustacean Bar!
The lobster that is sold by weight (600 JPY/100g) at the second Tenman branch of the crustacean bar, orb, is available grilled with black bean sauce or steamed with garlic. This branch is popular among women as a place where, in addition to standards such as Shrimp Mayonnaise, you can enjoy unique Chinese food such as a guey salad of taro and plenty of sansho peppers.
The Minced Shrimp Mapo Tofu (photo back・734 JPY), with plenty of plump shrimp in a mapo sauce, has a gentle spiciness. In front is the Yaki Sea Urchin Nigiri (324 JPY/each).
At the counter, you can watch the chefs wield their woks.
