Osaka

Osaka is a city for gourmands. In ancient times it was called Japan's kitchen, and it's famous throughout Japan for being an area where you can enjoy cheap yet delicious meals.There are Osaka specialties like okonomiyaki, takoyaki, kushikatsu, oden, and blowfish dishes, as well as meals like yakiniku, udon, and sushi. It's also famous as a city for shopping; it's broken up into the Umeda area, called "kita," and the Nanba area, called "minami." Both of those areas have major stations are surrounded by shopping buildings, shopping arcades, shops selling electronics, miscellaneous goods, fashion, souvenirs, and a lot more. For sightseeing, there's the unique signs and illuminations of Dotonbori; Kuromon Ichiba Market, where you can eat and walk; Shin-Sekai, which is home to Tsutenkaku; Tenouji, which has Japan's tallest building, Abeno Harukas; and more. Other recomendations are the Kaiyukan, which is one of the world's biggest aquariums with indoor tanks; Universal Studios Japan; and the Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum where you can make your own original cup noodles.
