Stamp x Digital World! A Stamp Experience Shop Set to Open in Kinjofuto!
“ShachiPon!” will finally open inside Maker’s Pier in Kinjofuto in Minato-ku, Nagoya on March 30, 2017 (Thursday). It is an interactive stamp shop designed under the concept of “creative space where you can touch and play,” with a lot of stuff full of creativity waiting for you to enjoy.
At “Stamp World,” when you press a stamp, the kanji characters on that stamp will get projected onto the wall, turn into characters resembling creatures such as turtles and crabs, and then start to swim on the screen. They have an interactive setup so you can touch the characters and enjoy their various reactions.
At the “Stamp Factory,” you can create an original stamp on the spot based on an illustration you drew by hand or a photo. Go and make you very own stamp that is the only one of its kind in the whole world!
Aside from the above, workshops will also be held starting April 8th (Saturday). The workshops will not only be about experiencing the world wherein stamp and digital animation are fused together, as you can also try various Shachihata products, from convenient stamps to fun items. You can buy them if you like! [This article was originally published in Walkerplus on 03.08.2017]
