The Beautiful 1.4 km Cherry Blossom Tunnel in Sewaritei, Yodogawa Riverside Park
Sewaritei in Yawata, Kyoto, is recommended for its 1.4km cherry blossom tunnel. The majestic rows of cherry trees seen 25m up from the observatory tower at Sakuradeai Kan are recommended both on sunny days and for a walk after the rain. You may be able to take a miraculous picture of the cherry blossoms reflected in puddles, which will look as if there are cherry blossoms in the sky and on the ground.
(Photographer's Voice: wasabitool) "Sewaritei is one of the most famous cherry blossom spots in the Kansai region. The rows of cherry trees along the river are very beautiful, and it is lovely even just for a stroll. It unfortunately rained that day, but I looked in a puddle and saw a beautiful reflection."

Cherry Blossom Petals Dancing on the Keage Incline Tracks
The Keage Incline was once a railroad on a steep slope that carried boats that traveled on Lake Biwa Canal. Its rail tracks that span 582m remain, creating a unique scene when the cherry trees blossom that makes it one of Kyoto's most popular spots to see cherry blossoms. The cherry trees have been planted below the tracks, so you’ll feel like you’re on top of a cloud of cherry blossoms. The best time to visit is in the early morning before it gets crowded.
(Photographer's Voice: Hisanori Manabe) “The cherry blossoms in this photo are from the Keage Incline, which is probably the most famous spot for cherry blossoms in Kyoto. I took the photograph using long exposure before sunrise. I'd like to walk on the rail tracks with the cherry blossom petals falling around me again this year. Many people take photographs there, so be considerate and share the space."
