Nama Cha no Ka Ice Bar a Koicha Dessert from Kyoto, the Home of Tea, is Now Available!
Kyoto Kitayama Malebranche, a western sweets shop, is now offering the Nama Cha no Ka Ice Bar (250 JPY for 1 bar), an ice cream cream bar with a koicha (very dark, opaque matcha) espuma sauce only in the Malebranche Kyoto Tower Sando branch starting Friday, April 14.
The koicha sauce is extracted into espuma after you order the Nama Cha no Ka Ice Bar. It's a new take-out ice bar where you can dip the refreshing ice cream into the sauce for a new texture. The koicha ice cream bar has a mellow texture reminiscent of gateau chocolate, and matched with the espuma sauce brings the full aroma of matcha up another level. You can enjoy the carefully raised and chosen luxury matcha from Uji even more thanks to the original cup they serve the ice cream bar in. If you get a winning stick, you'll receive a lovely present.
This is a luxurious treat made with carefully selected koicha from Kyoto. If you go to Kyoto, please try it.
