Top 5 Shops for All-You-Can-Eat Delicious Yakiniku in Kyoto

A plate of thinly sliced meat will be served to your table. Place the meat onto the mesh over the stove on the table, grill them, dip them into sauce that has been poured into a small dish, and then savor them. This is the style of yakiniku (grilled meat) in Japan. Below are 5 spots in Kyoto that offer all-you-can-eat yakiniku!

1. Gokyou Nishijin Main Shop

This is a shop where you can taste Sendai-gyu (Sendai Beef) and Yamagata-gyu (Yamagata Beef), which are both branded beef from the Tohoku region. At Gokyou Nishijin Main Shop, the all-you-can-eat course of wagyu (Japanese beef) and local beef is only available from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on weekdays. The buffet operates on an “order” system, so the server will bring the items that you ordered. You can enjoy a total of 50 items from the yakiniku menu. There is no need to stand up to get the food, so even if you have a small child in tow, you can still relax and eat in peace. A better way to enjoy this shop is by adding 700 JPY in order to get the great value upgrade that’ll add 20 items to the course menu! Reservations are required for the all-you-can-eat course (can book on the day you are visiting).
