Five Select Restaurants Within The Conveyor Belt Sushi Battleground of Kanazawa

Ishikawa has the most conveyor belt sushi restaurants per area in the country, and its main city, Kanazawa, is known as a conveyor belt sushi battleground. Here are five select conveyor belt sushi restaurants in the conveyor belt sushi mecca, Kanazawa.

1. Kanazawa Maimon Sushi Main Branch (Ekinishimoto-ten)

This restaurant offers super-fresh sushi by procuring fresh fish twice a day. Procurement includes a wide selection of unusual items only available in limited areas in the Hokuriku region such as nodoguro (rosy seabass), shiraebi (Japanese glass shrimp), and gasuebi (greasyback shrimp). The vinegar rice on which the toppings are placed is mixed in-house with rice from Ishikawa as the base to get the best flavors. It's limited to just 20 servings a day!
