This is an activity provided by the Yokohama SUP Club, which hosts stand-up paddle boarding classes and a variety of other events. It is planned for late March to early May. Relax and Enjoy the Blossoms While Rowing a Boat in KODOMONOKUNI
KODOMONOKUNI is a theme park where you will be greeted by seasonal flowers, which bloom in a park that was built around existing groves of trees on Tama Hills. Enjoy the blossoms from around 50 different types of trees, starting with plums and Kobushi Magnolia, followed by weeping cherries in late March and Yae cherries in mid-April. The park has several fun facilities, such as the longest rolling slide in Yokohama, as well as playgrounds and cycling courses.

Enjoy the Evening Blossoms Lit by Lanterns at Nikaryo Watercourse Shukugawara Moat
This is a historic irrigation channel that was built more than 400 years ago during the Edo period. It is a famous spot for cherry blossoms, with rows of cherry trees on both banks. During the cherry blossom season, approximately 300 paper lanterns are lit up in the evening, creating fantastic scenery. It is crowded with visitors every year.

Lake Miyagase: Where Cherry Trees Blossom Amidst the Great Nature
There are approximately 1,000 cherry trees in the mountainous area around Lake Miyagase. The Miyagase Cherry Festival, which is scheduled to be held in early April, has a variety of attractions, including stage performances. Around the area, you can also find the great Mizu-no-Sato suspension bridge that gives fantastic views, as well as a 6-acre square with Japanese zelkova trees.
The Mizu-no-Sato shopping district that stretches from the bus terminal has many shops, including eat-in and take-out restaurants, as well as souvenir shops that sell famous local produce and Miyagase goods. Enjoy the cherry blossoms with the refreshing breeze coming from the lake.
