Experience Rich Nature and Food at Limited-time BBQ Spots Near Tokyo

RIVER RANTA, a barbecue spot in Hannogawara in Hanno, Saitama, is open from Friday, August 4 through Tuesday, October 31.

At RIVER RANTA, you can get your fill of barbecue made with fresh Hanno vegetables that were popular last year, Scandinavian style Kokko made by cooking sausages and marshmallows over a bonfire, barbecue with substantial Australian steaks, handmade butter made from fresh cream, and playing in the river.

They have 200g Australian steaks and 100g pork loin available to be cooked dramatically on a grill. Vegetables, such as potatoes and carrots, are mostly fresh, seasonal Hanno vegetables procured from Hanno farmers.

Various Foods Prep Experiences

The open fire experience allows you to experience the difference between cooking on open fire and on gas by grilling sausages and marshmallows on a "kokko" (bonfire). With the handmade fresh cream butter experience, you can see how fresh cream, when mixed, eventually turns into butter. The butter you make yourself is best enjoyed with baked potatoes.

Though close to Tokyo, this is a place where you can experience both food and nature in a nature-rich environment. A great way to have a special experience with friends and family.
