In "Edo-rium," one of Japan's largest exhibition spaces for goldfish, Sumida Aquarium will hold the Tokyo Goldfish Wonderland, an event where you can see approximately 1,000 goldfish of varying colors and sizes. TokyoWalker, which will celebrate its 1,000th issue with the September issue, is collaborating for the "1,000 connection." There will be many initiatives including those where you get cute sweets.

A collaborative campaign to celebrate the 1,000th issue of TokyoWalker will be held from Thursday, July 20 to Thursday, August 31. Joint Performance of Edo "Beauty" and "Craft"

You can enjoy a joint performance of Edo "beauty" and "craft" in a goldfish-filled space with 150 dimly lit goldfish lanterns and goldfish dancing in fish tanks, and an exhibition of ten types of delicate goldfish-shaped candy newly created for this event by Ameshin in Asakusa, a store that specializes in the traditional craft of amezaiku, sugar candy made into the form of people and animals.

Hands-on Programs and Special Menu Items Derived from Goldfish Bowls as Well

There is an experiential program, "goldfish color matching," to recreate the beautiful colors and patterns of goldfish as well as a cute Goldfish Soda drink inspired by the goldfish bowl. In addition, with the penguins + underwater projection mapping "Summer Sparkling Underwater Fireworks" - an eight-minute program of music and video projected onto the surface of the penguin pool-type tank, one of the largest open indoor tanks in the country - you are sure to enjoy the festive mood in the aquarium.

This summer, be sure to visit Sumida Aquarium to enjoy the "1,000 Goldfish x TokyoWalker 1,000 Issue" celebrations.
