You Can Take Them Home! Yukata-Inclusive Ladies’ Accommodation Package
Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo offers women the “Girls Yukata Stay” (rates start at 13,500 JPY per person, per night, for a group of five women staying in one room), an accommodation plan that comes with yukata (light summer kimono) for groups of women travelers that is only available during the summer season, from July 1st (Sat.) until September 30th (Sat.).
Earning rave reviews each year even among all the famous women-only packages out there, the Girls Yukata Stay is a hotel accommodation package that gives guests yukata that they can take home with them. Women who avail of this plan get to choose the design of their yukata from a wide array of designs and patterns, including subdued patterns and colorful, ornate designs. The yukata comes with a set of accessories that are needed when dressing in a yukata or kimono, including an obi (sash), geta (Japanese wooden clogs) and koshi-himo (cord tied around the waist before the obi is tied). Further, the package includes a choice of breakfast or lunch buffet, so the 13,500 JPY price tag per person for a room with five women is totally reasonable.
Further, each guest will be provided a charming bath agent that is shaped like an ice cream, something that is perfect for the summer. With the yukata that is a summer tradition in Japan and the pastel-colored cute bath agent, you are guaranteed to create a truly photogenic summer memory!
For those who are not so confident about their kimono dressing skills, they have the option to secure the services of professionals to help them get dressed and get their hair set and their nails done at the Shiseido Beauty Salon on the 4th floor of the hotel.
Guests are urged to wear the yukata and take part in the fireworks display, summer festival and other events, as well as take a stroll around the hotel, such as in the Kagurazaka district where they can enjoy cobblestone alleys that are filled with a retro Japanese vibe. Try to avail of the Girls Yukata Stay for a wonderful summer memory you won’t ever forget!
