What is Tokyo Dome City?

Tokyo Dome City is located at the heart of the Tokyo Metropolis, and is made up of a number of facilities: Starting with Tokyo Dome (a huge baseball field) as its center, alongside the amusement park "Tokyo Dome City Attractions" and LaQua (a spa where you can find other shops and restaurants), as well as the Tokyo Dome Hotel. This is a popular spot that attracts 38 million visitors each year.

First off is the Tokyo Dome City Attractions, which is an amusement park popular with adults. You can find many family-friendly rides and facilities that you can enjoy, such as the world's first centerless giant Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, and a hands-on RPG attraction! No entrance fee is required, and you may enter and exit as many times as you wish throughout the day. (Each attraction requires a fee.)

Enjoy Shopping and the Spa at LaQua!

Next up is the LaQua area. Here, you may find over 50 shops where you can enjoy shopping as a family, such as drugstores, popular sweets stores, miscellaneous goods, and fashion-related stores. You may also find cafes and other restaurants. The spa zone for adults also offers an open-air bath where you may enjoy natural hot spring water, a bedrock bath, and a sauna. This is another facility that is recommended if you want to relax as a family.

You can find a rich variety of restaurants within Tokyo Dome City – such as fast food, cafes, casual restaurants, and other places that serve authentic Japanese meals. There is a lot to choose from depending on your mood and preference. For those with children, it is recommended to visit the ramen restaurant "SETAGAYA", as well as "BIKKURI DONKEY POCKET KITCHEN", which serves hamburgers. Both restaurants can be found in the Tokyo Dome City Attractions Area. Please give these restaurants a go!

Stay Over at Tokyo Dome Hotel

After a day of enjoyment, you can spend the night at Tokyo Dome Hotel. Since this hotel is just within the area, you can enjoy the entire area to the fullest! This hotel – which measures 155m in height and has 43 floors – offers a wonderful view from the topmost floor. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the whole building. You may find staff that can speak English, Chinese, and/or Korean.
