Ishiya Co. is a sweets manufacturer that is most famous for “Shiroi Koibito,” its confection that is famous as a Hokkaido souvenir. On April 20th (Thursday), it opened its first directly-managed store outside of Hokkaido at GINZA SIX, a complex commercial facility that is located at Ginza’s Chuo-dori street. Following the debut of its first branch outside of Hokkaido, Ishiya Co. now sells five new products that are only available at its shop in Ginza.
Ishiya Co. offers five new kinds of sweets that are only available at ISHIYA GINZA, its directly-managed retail store in GINZA SIX. Some of these new items are the “Saqu LANGUE DE CHAT,” a confection wherein chocolates with various flavors are sandwiched by colorful langue de chat, the “Pali PIE” that is inspired by the snowy mountains of Hokkaido, and the “Fwari BUTTER CAKE” that uses original fermented butter.
Further, ISHIYA has launched new flavors at its Tokyo branch that are created with wheat flour and dairy products from Hokkaido, such as the “Zaqu CHOCOLATE” that is made by soaking wheat gluten in chocolate. It will make you taste and feel a mature appeal that is different from what you get with the Shiroi Koibito.
