This Jiyugaoka Coffee Shop is Managed by a Former Google Marketer!
Alpha Beta Coffee Club is a coffee shop that opened on Saturday, April 22nd, in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo and has a former head of the Google marketing team as its CEO.
Their Single Origin Coffee beans are roasted via a partnership with coffee roasters all around the country to bring out the best flavors of the beans. They also have a varied, interesting food menu including items like onigiri (rice ball) made with Mexican flavors, the Taco Rice Onigiri, as well as a Kimchi Grilled Cheese sandwich that will stir your appetite with the cheesy creaminess and kimchi flavor.
This cafe was designed with the modern Internet culture of photo sharing in mind. The shop interior is decorated so that you'll definitely want to take pictures of it, such as the brand logo on the floor and the special magnet wall decorated with a wooden map of the world.
The mugs are all from the "origami" brand, a Minoware brand from Toki, Gifu. In the center of the cafe is a long table from Ishinomaki Laboratory, a DIY furniture brand that was opened in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. This shop makes a concentrated effort to bring in Japanese craft culture.
This coffee shop was created to have the latest styles as seen from the IT industry.
