The Japanese buffet restaurant, Daichi no Okurimono, is holding a Strawberry Comparison Eating Festival
The Japanese buffet restaurant, Daichi no Okurimono, is holding a "Strawberry Comparison Eating Festival" from Saturday, April 1 through Sunday, May 7. It will offer four types of fresh strawberries, as well as a total of 13 menu items made with strawberries.
This event is being held as the second strawberry fair following the popular "Amaou Festival," which earned high praise. The highlight is the opportunity to eat as much as you want of four different types of fresh strawberries: Amaou, Tochiotome, Saga Honoka, and Yumenoka.
There is also a selection of menu items available only for dinner, including: Four types of strawberries to taste and compare; strawberry and smoked salmon sushi; fruit gratin of strawberries; strawberry chocolate fondue and strawberry dumplings; make your own strawberry daifuku (strawberry wrapped in mochi); whole strawberry donuts; and strawberry mille crepes; as well as items available both for lunch and dinner such as "strawberry choux" and "strawberry and wild vegetable pizza."
This event is perfect for your final session of strawberries this season. Why not go with friends and family during the Golden Week holidays to taste and compare popular strawberry brands? [This article was originally published in Walkerplus on 03.19.2017]
