Wine Bar ete is a specialty wine shop located just a 5-minute walk from the west exit of Ikebukuro Station. The wine bar has a casual atmosphere that even the first person in for the day will enjoy before other people start showing up, with bar stool seating at the stylish counter or relaxed table seating. The wine bar offers excellent service through thorough temperature control in its custom cellar that houses wines specially chosen by a sommelier. During the happy hour that lasts from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily, you can enjoy more than 10 varieties of wine by the glass for 350 JPY each!
2. Wine Bar MARUGO LUNA SOLA
At Wine Bar MARUGO LUNA SOLA just a 2-minute walk from Yurakucho Station International Forum you can enjoy wines from around the world. This is a calm, high-quality space with counter seating, table seating and even luxury private rooms with glittering chandeliers. Over 400 varieties of wine from countries around the world, particularly Austria. The highly knowledgeable sommelier will choose a wine for you that best suits your preferences. Wine by the glass starts at 600 JPY. You can also enjoy French-Italian fusion cuisine that suits the wine here.
3. GRANDE POLAIRE WINEBAR TOKYO Ginza Corridor Street Branch
Take a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station’s 5th exit to GRANDE POLAIRE WINEBAR TOKYO’s Ginza location to enjoy some Japanese wine. In addition to the counter seating and sofa seating there is also an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy sipping on wine when the season permits. The pride of this establishment is the premium Japanese wine made with 100% Japanese grapes grown in Hokkaido, Nagano, Okayama and Yamanashi Prefectures. We recommend the Grande Polair Yamanashi Koshu (840 JPY (excl. tax)) and the Grande Polair Okayama Muscat Bailey A (670 JPY (excl. tax))!
4. ESOLA Shibuya Ekimae Branch
ESOLA’s Shibuya Station location is a 3-minute walk from Shibuya Station. This is an Italian bar where you can enjoy 100 wine varieties. The interior is styled after a winery with plenty of warm wood accents. It has a fun, stylish atmosphere, with counter seating, table seating, and semi-private seating. The specialty of ESOLA is the “wine buffet”. For 500 JPY, you can do 1 hour of all-you-can-drink with 100 varieties of wines from around the world to choose from. The wine buffet is self-service so you can enjoy as much of the wine that you like as you want. There are also luxury wines of which only 1 bottle is available per day.
5. Konro-ya Akasaka Branch
Konro-ya is an izakaya where you can also enjoy A5 rank Wagyu beef, just a 2-minute walk from Akasaka Station. The highlight is the entire wall lined with casks of wine, beer and lemon sour. The lively, popular izakaya has a cheerful atmosphere. For the first 30 minutes of your time here you can do all-you-can-drink for 290 JPY. This includes 100 types of cask wine and 3 types of tap beer. There are also plenty of meat dishes to go with your drinks, including Konro-ya's signature dish, Marbled Wagyu Hot Pot (2,290 JPY).
