1. Sendai Marugoto Pass

This discount pass allows you to ride the JR, subway, bus, Sendai Airport Transit, and the Abukuma Express* within the designated area as many times as you want for two days. Depending on the business, you can also use it to gain special discounts or services in sightseeing spots, restaurants, or other facilities.

*This is defined as the JR lines in Sendai, Matsushima, Matsushima Kaigan, Yamadera, and Shiroishi Stations; Sendai Airport Transit; Loople Sendai; Sendai City Buses; all lines on the Sendai subway; Miyagi Transportation between Sendai - Akiu Great Falls; and Abukuma Express between Tsukinoki Station and Abukuma Station

This is a convenient sightseeing ticket for the center of Sendai. It's a one-day pass where you can use the Loople Sendai bus system that connects the major sightseeing routes and the Sendai subway (Nanboku and Tozai lines) as much as you want. Depending on the ticket, you can get discounts at various facilities and restaurants and even receive presents.

3. Hokkaido and East Japan Pass

This is a consecutive 7-day pass for regular trains on the JR Hokkaido and JR East Japan lines (sales and eligibility times are limited by season). You can use this pass on the Aoimori Railway Line, Iwate Galaxy Railway Line, regular seats on regular and rapid trains on the Hokuetsu Express, and BRT. If you buy a separate special-express ticket for the Hokkaido shinkansen (bullet train) between Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto and Shin-Aomori, you can use any open seat on the regular car. The JR Gono Line is extremely popular since it has a gorgeous view from the train windows. It's a 147.2 km local line that connects the 43 stations between Akita's Higashi-Noshiro Station and Aomori's Kawabe Station. This free pass allows you to ride the line for 2 days as much as you want. You can use it at every station on the Gono Line and the sections between Akita and Higashi-Noshiro Stations and Hirosaki and Aomori Stations on the Ou Main Line. Price: 3,810 JPY for adults and 1,900 JPY for children (incl. tax)

5. Iwate Holiday Pass

This is a free pass that can be used for one day on Saturdays or holidays (other periods also acceptable*1) on the regular trains and bus lines (*3) in the designated area (*2).

*1: Can be used every day between April 29 and May 5, July 20 and August 31, and December 23 and January 7
*2: The section between Hanaizumi and Morioka Stations on the Tohoku Main Line, the Ofunato Line, the section between Yanaizu and Kesennuma Stations on the Kesennuma Line, the section between Kitakami and Hottoyuda Stations on the Kitakami Line, the Kamaishi Line, the Yamada Line (one portion is suspended), the section between Morioka and Shizukuishi Stations on the Tazawako Line, the Hanawa Line, the section between Morioka and Koma Stations on the IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway Line, and the Higashinihon Kotsu bus system between Moichi and Iwaizumi Hospital.
*3: Regular seats on regular trains (including rapid trains), BRT (Mori - Kesennuma - Yanaizu), and Higashinihon Kotsu bus (Moichi - Iwaizumi Hospital)
