Hugging culture’s got a lot of traction in Sweden. Even when you’re sending business emails, if it’s somebody you’ve known for a long time, it’s not too uncommon to end your emails with “*hug*”. If someone does that to me, I’ll do it back, but I don’t like to go that far myself…
