Hokuou Joshi: A Swedish Girl’s Life in Japan Volume 1, Chapter 1 (15)

Convenience store onigiri are way too handy! Why is it that Japanese girls can call just about anything “cute?” The guys at host bars are so hot, they’re like real-life anime characters! These are only some of the mysteries Swedish manga artist Åsa Ekström discovers in this journal comic about her journey from Scandinavia to Japan, which is jam-packed with surprises and laughs! >>>Chapter 1: My Day-to-Day Life in Wonderland (15)「Something I don’t get about Japanese people: picking up women」

Something I don’t get about Japanese people: picking up women

Åsa’s comment

I’ll never understand guys who try to pick up girls out on the street. Everyone’s in a hurry, right? It can’t have that high of a success rate! I think it’s rude to just call out to a stranger and try to pick them up in broad daylight. Sorry… Swedish people don’t really talk to strangers too much.
