Japanese stationery goods are popular all around the world. They make great souvenirs, but as there is such a wide selection it can be difficult to choose which ones to buy. With that, here are some of the latest in recommended stationery items from Japan.

As there are no staples, there is no need to take them out when recycling the paper. It is not only good for the environment, but also safe and efficient. Unlike traditional staples, there is no protrusion in the attached area so the papers are easy to stack. To take the papers apart, simply flatten the attached edge with a hard surface. These scissors have been designed specifically for opening boxes, as they can be used as regular scissors or as a box cutter. Use the regular scissors to cut off strings or tags from a box, and the box cutter to open the box itself. With traditional mechanical pencils, the lead can break if you put too much pressure on it and can also get stuck in the tip.
