Cakes with Lovely Bean Paste Bouquets Debut in Autumn at the Sanjo Teramachi Shop!

Umezono Sanjo Teramachi Shop is a confectionery cafe that is famous for its Shikakui Mitarashi Dango (skewered rectangular rice dumplings). While its menu is virtually the same as the menus of other branches, it is interesting to know that the service is different at every shop. The long list of drinks at this spot can be ordered in a set corresponding to your mood, and by doing that, you can enjoy discounts! In late September of this year, in addition to the Teramachi Tenshin (880 JPY), the new tenshin debuted at the Sanjo Teramachi Shop!

This is the Hana Tenshin (930 JPY). It will let you enjoy six kinds of sweets, including the familiar mitarashi dango, warabi mochi (a type of dumpling made from bracken starch), kuri no shibukawani (candied chestnuts), and the new an no hanataba (red bean paste bouquet).

This is the Mitarashi Dango and Chiisai Parfait (mitarashi dango and small parfait) (880 JPY). The matcha (green tea) ice cream parfait comes with two kinds of warabi mochi (ice cream can be changed to vanilla).

The inside of this shop is a relaxing space where the atmosphere of the old building is preserved. The feel of the old materials coexists with the modern design.

Almost all the dishes are made by hand in the annexed kitchen inside the shop, so customers get to taste freshly cooked food.

On the second floor, you can find the popular counter seats, as well as tables that can accommodate groups of up to eight people.

It is located in the northwest corner where Sanjo-dori and Teramachi-dori intersect.
