Reasonably Priced Chinese Dishes Made by a Hotel-Trained Chef is the Talk of the Town
The owner of the Chinese bar and restaurant, Engi, trained for 20 years at hotels such as Ritz-Carlton and Hilton. He offers a hotel-worthy experience that stimulates all five senses at reasonable prices. The Mao Tse-tung spare ribs from Hunan and the mapo tofu from Sichuan served on an iron grill are popular.
The Chef's Appetizer Selection (1,250 JPY) that includes nine items such as kou shui ji (mouth-watering) chicken.

Authentic Chinese Dishes and Wine at a Bar! The New Standard for the Chinese Food Battleground in Fukushima
The second store of a popular restaurant in Ashiya, CHI・i・NA Fukushima Branch takes the shape of a detached house with warm lights. The healthy Chinese food made with no MSG goes well with shaoxingjiu (Chinese rice wine) or wine. The restaurant offers many ideas on how to enjoy fresh ingredients, and will cook fresh fish procured directly from the market in any manner you choose. There is counter seating on the first floor and table seating on the second.
The Red Mapo Tofu (700 JPY) made with doubanjiang (chili bean paste) blended with homemade chili oil.
Their specialty is the Crispy Chicken S (1,000 JPY), which is deep-fried chicken with crispy skin.

Kowloon in Motomachi, Kobe is run by Masakazu Kamibayashi, a chef who trained in famous restaurants in China and Kobe. Kamibayashi has arranged Chinese foods unfamiliar in Japan to suit Japanese tastes. Each dish, starting with the specialty crispy fried young chicken, is created with thorough consideration to the cooking methods and ingredients. Reservations are recommended in the evenings.
The care taken during the preparation is the secret behind the taste of the Half Crispy Aromatic Deep-fried Young Chicken (1,620 JPY).

Healthy Taiwanese Food Made With Carefully Chosen Oils and Ingredients is Popular
Rikka, a Taiwanese food bar, was opened by a veteran chef with 40 years of experience with the desire to bring "healthy Taiwanese and Chinese dishes" to people. Fresh vegetables and brand-name pork are used, the stir-fry dishes are lightly cooked with sunflower oil, and the deep-fried dishes with canola oil.

The Higobashi Branch of Dao Fu is popular for having the image of an upscale restaurant and serving authentic Chinese food at prices starting from 280 JPY. Currently, reservations are a must during the weekend. Although the prices are reasonable, the ingredients, such as domestic Chinese vegetables procured directly from Hiroshima and premium peanut oil, are chosen with care.
