EXPOCITY is a major commercial complex that is comprised of seven entertainment facilities and Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport EXPOCITY. With more than 300 shops to visit, it is a popular spot with boundless fun that everybody is sure to enjoy.
Experience Grand Nature at Orbi Osaka
Orbi Osaka is a museum that fuses the amazing videos produced by the UK’s BBC Earth with the technologies of SEGA, which Japan takes pride in. There are 13 exhibitions that will let you experience the realities of the great outdoors with your whole body through videos, sounds, vibrations, and smell. Some of the attractions you can enjoy inside this museum are the theater showing thrilling videos of nature on Japan’s largest screen, and life-size animal reference books.

An interactive facility that combines lights, sounds, and videos, nIFREL is a facility where you can marvel at the uniqueness and charms of living creatures, just like you would with art. It is divided into seven zones, including Iro (Colors), Waza (Abilities), Mizube (Waterside), and Ugoki (Behaviors). Here, you will learn about the ecology of living creatures – from mammals to fish.

Ride the REDHORSE OSAKA WHEEL – Japan’s Tallest Ferris Wheel
REDHORSE OSAKA WHEEL is the tallest (123m) Ferris wheel in Japan that also serves as the landmark of EXPOCITY. Ride this Ferris wheel for a chance to enjoy a panoramic view of the townscape and night view of Osaka below. All of its gondolas are equipped with air-conditioning/heating systems, and are designed to be roomy with features like spacious seats. It is definitely a thrilling ride, with see-through floors that will make you feel like you are floating on air.

Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport EXPOCITY is home to a diverse collection of shops that address all kinds of needs, as they have everything that ladies, men, and children need. Some of the shops here are high-fashion brands represented by RHC – the concept store of Ron Herman, as well as famous select shops like BEAMS, bag/shoe brands such as COLE HAAN, and cosmetics brands such as ALBION DRESSER. Another recommended spot is the character shop, which is full of Sanrio and Ghibli goods!

EXPOCITY is also full of eating and drinking joints. For instance, there are washoku (Japanese cuisine) restaurants selling soba (buckwheat noodles), tonkatsu (pork cutlet), and kushiage (fried meat and vegetables on skewers).
