The Osaka Amazing Pass is a pass that gives you unlimited access to trains in Osaka, starting with the Osaka Municipal Subway and buses, and including other railways in the Osaka area, such as Hankyu, Hanshin, Keihan, Nankai, and Kintetsu. The pass comes in two types: a 1-day pass, and a 2-day pass. (See below for further details). It is not valid for the JR lines, but the railways mentioned above cover all major sightseeing spots in Osaka, so it is enough for enjoying the city! Also, showing this pass makes you eligible for free entrance to 28 sightseeing facilities, and it comes with discounts and presents, which makes it a really good deal. You can choose between English, Korean, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) for the guidebook that comes included when you buy your pass, which allows you to look up means of transportation to go to your desired destination, and to make the most out of the exclusive privileges available.
What is the Osaka Amazing Pass?
The "Osaka Amazing Pass" can be purchased at all subway and new tram stations, counters selling commuter passes in subway stations, tourist information centers, and hotels (depending on the hotel, you may only be eligible to purchase the pass if you are staying the night). Some sales spots may not have the 2-day pass available, so check the official website in advance. Please find the prices and terms of validity below.

The "Osaka Amazing Pass" comes in the format of a card that you just have to show to gain free access to 28 sightseeing facilities! Entrance is limited to once per facility, but it is still a pretty good deal (entrance is limited to once per facility even in the case of the 2-day pass). These facilities include many major tourist facilities of Osaka, such as the Osaka-jo Castle Tenshukaku Main Tower, the Kuchu-Teien Observatory on the Umeda Sky Building, the Ferris wheel on the rooftop of fashion building "HEP FIVE", the "Osaka Museum of Housing and Living" (the first museum in Japan of its genre), and natural hot spring resort "Naniwa no Yu", among others.
One must not forget about the "TOKUx2" coupon that comes with the "Osaka Amazing Pass" when you purchase it. By showing this coupon and your pass, you will be eligible to receive discounts and presents at 16 sightseeing facilities and stores in the Kita, Minami, Tennoji, Shinsekai, and Bay Area. This is a popular kushikatsu restaurant in Minami. We recommend trying their sunken kotatsu seats if you are going with a group, or their counter seats if you would like to indulge in the atmosphere. Prices are reasonable too, starting at 64 JPY per skewer.
