ECONECO's First Cafe is Perfect for Instagram!
ECONECO Cafe & Sweet is the first cafe of ECONECO, a brand that was created by the illustrator ECONECO, who is famous for having a unique worldview. The first floor of this cafe is designed based on the fantastic Animal Parade, while the basement area is painted with vivid Kiss Doll images. No matter where you look on both floors, you’ll find great photo spots. Even the menu that includes pop soft-serve ice cream is so cute!

The Taste of Autumn in Mild Gelato with the Sweetness of Hot and Flaky Chestnuts
SUGiTORA is a gelato shop that was set up by the former Japanese representative of the World Pastry Cup. Here, their parfait, which uses highly aromatic and full-bodied gelato that does not melt easily, is as good as it looks. Mix some Japanese chestnuts and pears to the caramel to further enhance the flavor.
This is the Mont Blanc Parfait (1,700 JPY). It comes with three types of gelato, including milk and pear vanilla, as well as chestnut cream that capitalizes on the flavor of Japanese chestnuts from Ehime. This is available until late November.
This is the Tarte Tatin Parfait (1,500 JPY) that debuted on September 7. Limited to the autumn season (until December), this parfait has three types of gelato, including the caramel gelato that has superb richness and sweetness, with caramelized apples on top.
There are table seats on the cozy second floor that can be accessed through a small spiral staircase.
This shop is located in the alley between Teramachi-dori and Kyogoku-dori, and there may be a line of customers outside its doors even on weekdays. Note that if you only order the gelato, you will not be allowed to use the table seats on the second floor.

Colorful and Exquisite Cotton Candy You’d Absolutely Want to Share
JEREMY & JEMIMAH Furukawacho Shotengai, the sister shop of a store in Gion that specializes in Kyoto-style watagashi (cotton candy), is famous for its cotton candies that come in 10 flavors. Some of these flavors include matcha green tea and kuromitsu kinako (soy powder and brown sugar syrup), as well as its wata-hako that is topped with dried fruits and herbs. You won’t get enough of their delicate flavors, which is typical of wagashi (Japanese traditional sweets), as well as their lovely colors!
This is the wata-hako (900 JPY). You can choose two flavors from the 10 available flavors, including matcha green tea and sakura mochi (cherry blossom rice cake) (shown in photo), as well as kocha (black tea), hojicha (roasted green tea) and kuromitsu kinako. All the cotton candies come with a drink.
If you order wata-hako, you can enjoy your sweets in a leisurely manner in one of the tatami seats on the second floor. Even the wata-hana (600 JPY) that is meant for take-out has 10 flavors to choose from!

Famous Pop Donuts with Ice Cream on Top
Donuts at Kitten & Donuts that look pop on the outside have become pretty famous quite quickly thanks to their soft and springy texture, as well as their refined sweetness that comes from the use of local wheat with soymilk and condensed milk. No eggs or cow milk are used in the mix. The Kitten Charmmy, wherein ice cream can be put on top of the donut, makes for an awesome photo!
If you order the Kitten Charmmy – your favorite donut with ice cream on top – you’d have to pay 378 JPY on top of the price of the donut. The Matcha Kitten Charmmy shown in the photo costs 723 JPY.

The Autumn Latte Topped with Candied Sweet Potatoes Also Looks Good in Photos!
Inside the shop of THE CITY'S BEST COFFEE that was designed with Brooklyn, New York, in mind, customers are loving their latte that is topped with daigaku imo (candied sweet potatoes), sodas mixed with dried fruits, and other creative and colorful drinks. Try the food and sweets that use their springy and superb “croffle” (hybrid of croissant and waffle) dough!
This is the Daigaku Imo Latte (prices start at 518 JPY), and it will be available until October 31st (Tuesday). This is a rich and full-bodied caramel latte with generous amounts of caramelized sweet potatoes on top.
This is the Pistachio & Berry Croffle (626 JPY). A “croffle” is a dessert that uses springy and delicious dough. This dough is actually made from a combination of croissant and waffle doughs.
These are the signature Fruit Kajunade (475 JPY), the Yogurt Budo Juice (yogurt and grapes) with candied grapes on top (518 JPY, available starting mid-October), and other delights.
The brick walls and tables that are colored like candies create an excellent atmosphere.
“All the flavors at this croffle bar are priced at 194 JPY each!” said Karen Setoguchi, a staff member at the cafe.

The AMAZING COFFEE OSAKA SOUTH SIDE, which is the third branch of a coffee stand that is popular in Tokyo and Yokohama, has made its foray into the Kansai region. This shop offers a wide array of drinks, including their Cafe Latte that is made using the latest espresso machines and the highest grade of coffee beans that are handpicked from around the world, and the extremely aromatic hand-dripped Decaf (550 JPY).
Many people take a photo with the massive car billboard on the background. Flavored coffees are also available every season.

A Coffee Stand with a Fancy Vending Machine-type Door
W/O STAND, a coffee stand that has become the talk of the town for its flashy neon lights and Italian-made espresso machines, has ventured into Osaka after Kobe and Kyoto. In addition to lattes and coffees, it is also famous for its monthly brew. In October, they launched the Hazelnut Latte (600 JPY), to the delight of all the women who love the drink.
The interior is stylish, with white tiles against wood. There are items from rock musicians and famous brands on display inside.
This is the Cafe Latte (450 JPY) that makes full use of the original flavor of coffee.
The door is also poppy and was inspired by a vending machine.
Here, espresso machines from the world-famous Italian brand La Marzocco are being used to make the coffee.
