Photogenic Strawberry Hotel Cocktails You’ll Want to Post on Social Media Immediately

Swissôtel Nankai Osaka in Namba, Osaka is holding a "Photogenic Strawberry Drinks Fair" featuring fresh strawberries until Wednesday, May 31.

The fair is held at THE LOUNGE, on the 6th floor. Befitting of a lounge that serves afternoon tea as well as coffees and teas from around the world, it offers five cocktails (can be ordered non-alcoholic) including a strawberry tea cocktail, milk latte, or mojito.

All cocktails were devised by female staff members for sophisticated female customers, so each one is visually extravagant and wonderful to photograph. The selection is perfect for a relaxing, luxurious time, be it on a girls' night out or a White Day date.

"Strawberry Farm" (1,800 JPY) is arranged so it looks like a flower made of strawberry slices. Take a bite of the slightly sweet vanilla ice cream and milk, and you'll get touch of Japanese whiskey flavors. Even those who usually don't like alcohol will enjoy it.

The "Milk Latte" with dried strawberries on top (1,300 JPY). When you mix the strawberry syrup from the bottom, you will taste more strawberry and the alcohol content will change. It's not very sweet so male customers can enjoy it as well!

The "Strawberry Mojito" (1,500 JPY) is fizzy, light, and goes down smoothly. It is distinguished by the fresh aroma of mint, and when you mix the strawberry syrup served on the side, the contents turn pink so you can enjoy changes in both the look and taste.

"Strawberry of the Night" (1,400 JPY) is made using the high grade tea leaves served at THE LOUNGE. It is distinguished by the calming fragrance of Earl Grey combined with strawberry, and the large glass that is bigger than a man's palm is impressive.

"Strawberry Squash" (1,500 JPY) includes the lemon vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron. You get a direct hit of the berry flavors and vodka fragrance. [This article was originally published in Walkerplus on 02.16.2017]
