Mezze is a Halal-certified restaurant run by its Turkish owner and chef, who used to work at a 5-star hotel. This restaurant serves authentic Turkish food and dishes from the Mediterranean region. Here, everything can be made Halal, except for the hamburger with demi-glace sauce and beef skirt steak in the lunch menu. It offers a wide variety of dishes, including the Lamb Shish Kebab (1,650 JPY (excl. tax)), the Turkish Cheese Fondue (prices start at 1,980 JPY (excl. tax) for two people), the Turkish Ravioli with Yogurt Sauce (1,000 JPY (excl. tax)), the Paella (2,100 JPY (excl. tax) for two people), and Tagine hot pot. istanbul NazaR is a Turkish restaurant that offers a menu where all of the dishes are Halal. Kebabs are the bestsellers and they have a variety available for you to choose from, including the Iskender Kebab (1,800 JPY (incl. tax)) that comes with yogurt on the side and the Doner Kebab (1,620 JPY (incl. tax)) in which meat pieces are stacked on a skewer, grilled, and sliced while the rotisserie is turning. Another recommended dish is the Karisik Dolma (1,620 JPY (incl. tax)) that is served with grape leaves stuffed with spicy pilaf, shiitake (mushrooms) stuffed with cheese, and mussels. Apart from those, they have an extensive menu that changes monthly. If you eat here, you will be able to enjoy the authentic taste of Turkish cuisine. English menus are available. 4. Minokichi Shinsaibashi Midosuji Branch

Minokichi is a well-established restaurant for Kyoto dishes and Kyo-kaiseki (traditional Kyoto course meal) that has been running for 300 years. It may be located at the heart of Osaka, but inside its restaurant, you will feel a subdued atmosphere that will make you think you are in Kyoto. Here, you can enjoy various kinds of dishes that display the culinary skills of its expert chefs. You can make lunch and kaiseki Halal if you book them at least four days before you visit. Their Halal Beef Sukiyaki Kaiseki (9,180 JPY (incl. tax)) comes with dishes like beef sukiyaki (thin slices of beef cooked in a pot of sugar, soy sauce, and soup), shrimp and vegetable tempura, and salmon grilled with salt. The owner and chefs of this restaurant are also Muslims, and everything on the menu is Halal-certified. This restaurant has obtained Malaysian Halal Certification, which is difficult to get and strict, so you can dine here without any worries. They offer buffets every Friday, except during Ramadan. Its menu offers curry dishes, biryani, naan, desserts, and other delights. Take-out is possible. Prepare at least 2,000 JPY to dine here.
