The black pig, which is a specialty of Kagoshima, has earned a reputation for being really delicious. You can enjoy this pork in a variety of different ways. However, the most direct way would be to eat it as "tonkatsu" (pork cutlet). This article introduces some restaurants that offer this dish.

The menu is composed solely of dishes that the restaurant boasts itself on. These dishes use special sauces, bread crumbs, cabbage, and rice. For lunch, definitely try out their Tropical Black Pork Aged Roast Cutlet Set (starts from 1,880 JPY (excl. tax)), which will let you have a taste of rare top-grade fatty pork loin. Only 3 – 4 servings can be taken from one pig! At night, you can also select from sashimi and other elaborate dishes that come with side dishes (starts from 1,680 JPY (excl. tax)).
