Visit World Heritage Sites in Kyoto on a One-Day Unlimited Hop-On/Hop-Off Bus!
The express bus named Kyoto-World Heritage Site Tour Bus (K’ LOOP) that goes around the major tourist spots in Kyoto, including the World Heritage Sites (Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji temple, Shimogamo Jinja shrine, Kiyomizudera temple and Toji temple), has been transformed and renamed Kyoto Sightseeing Loop Bus (K’ LOOP) starting May 13th. The bus underwent a major version update, including a significant increase in the number of trips and the modification of its route.
Under the version upgrade, several routes that were operated by the hour have been integrated, while new stops have been set up at the Kyoto Imperial Palace, Kyoto City Hall/Honnoji, Demachiyanagi/Kamo Ohashi Bridge, and Yasaka Shrine. The route and timetable have also been modified to facilitate a smoother sightseeing tour aboard a bus, and trips are now run at 30-minute intervals.
Bus tickets are on sale at the official homepage and inside the buses, with the 1-day ticket priced at 2,000 JPY for adults (500 JPY for children), and the 2-day ticket costing 3,000 JPY (500 JPY for children).
If you buy a ticket, you can hop on and hop off the bus at any of the 19 stops all over Kyoto throughout the day, as much as you want.
The bus has become even more convenient, so enjoy touring Kyoto to the fullest!
