The menu will be available as a takeaway for the time being
Low in calories, fat, cholesterol, and also rich in nutrients such as fiber, protein and vitamins, IKEA Shibuya's Veggie Docs are reasonably priced at only 80 yen per item (set price from 220 yen), making it easy to enjoy when you're hungry. Of the 10 products in total, eight are exclusive to Shibuya, and six are plant-based (plant-derived), including the buns. The "Veggie Doc" tastes similar to the regular hot dogs and it is hard to believe it doesn't contain any meat. This is a must-have item for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Because it is healthy and satisfies the appetite for anyone, it's sure to become a popular new street food in Shibuya.

First Swedish Food Market in a urban store

Aside from the world’s first veggie doc bistro, IKEA for the first time in an urban store opened the first swedish food market. The market offers a wide range of delicious and sustainable items from Sweden. The popular "Plant Ball", made with plant-based ingredients instead of meat, is a reimagining of IKEA’s famous meatballs. It is sold for 699yen per 500g. The taste, texture and appearance are the same as its regular meatball, but there are no animal-derived ingredients, making them ideal for vegans and vegetarians.
