1. Umemizuki
This is a restaurant located 7 minutes away from Kanazawa Station. Here you can enjoy food made with local fish procured from the nearby Omi-cho Market and organic vegetables delivered straight from farmers within the prefecture. The recommended menu item for lunch is the Umemizuki Lunch (920 JPY (incl. tax)). It is a set that includes a main dish of your choice, five side dishes, salad, rice, and soup. You can also order the kid's lunch (600 JPY (incl. tax)). At night, you can enjoy authentic kaiseki multi-course dinners at reasonable prices (3,000 JPY and up (incl. tax)). There is semi-private raised seating convenient for guests with babies.

2. All Day Dining KENROKU
This is a restaurant in the hotel, ANA Holiday Inn Kanazawa Sky near Omi-cho Market, also called Kanazawa's kitchen. It is on the 16th floor and has fabulous views! Here, you can enjoy a buffet of colorful dishes made using fresh, seasonal ingredients. There are stations where the food is prepared in front of your eyes, so you can also enjoy the taste of freshly prepared food. The lunch buffet is 1,900 JPY (incl. tax and service fees), and the evening menu changes with the seasons.

3. ASIE Café
This is a cafe with a view of Sai River, which runs through Kanazawa. It has a stylish interior that incorporates artworks and crafts. There is a full selection of drinks starting with the cafe's signature coffee made with a professional espresso machine, as well as fresh juice, wine, and beer (400 JPY and up). There is also a full dining menu including meat, seafood, and pasta (1,700 JPY and up for lunch, 500 JPY - 1,900 JPY for à la carte dishes). Be sure to check out their tasty desserts such as fondant chocolat and affogato (600 JPY and up).

3. ASIE Café

4. MEGU
This is a restaurant in a house in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Here, you can enjoy seasonal cuisine in a spacious setting. Lunches are offered as courses that include an appetizer buffet, main dish, dessert and drinks (1,600 JPY and up (incl. tax)). The appetizer buffet includes more than ten types of hors d'oeuvres. At night, you can enjoy an even more extensive buffet (1,840 JPY (incl. tax)) and a full course with each dish presented beautifully (5,400 JPY (incl. tax)). The buffet is free for children three years and younger.

5. Vegan Macrobiotic Vegetarians Restaurant Takano
This is an organic food restaurant in Mitsukuchishinmachi in Kanazawa. They offer a wide selection of menu items made using an abundance of organic vegetables grown in its own farm including the healthy set (1,000 JPY (excl. tax)), which comes with a main dish, rice, miso soup, and pickles. No animal ingredients, white sugar, or chemical seasonings are used, so the food is appropriate for macrobiotic, vegetarian, and vegan diets. The restaurant will also accommodate restrictions based on nationality or religion. They offer kids' menus and baby food, and cater to a wide clientele including families with babies and the elderly.
