Walk a Beginner’s Level Trail Hugely Popular in Kamakura

In Kamakura, trails that allow you to casually enjoy nature, are popular. The Kuzuharaoka-Daibutsu trail, which is about 3km long, takes about an hour and a half to Kotoku-in Temple with the Great Buddha if you start from Kita-Kamakura Station. Take your time and enjoy walking the hills with stops at major tourist sites along the way.

Stop by at Zeniarai Benzaiten Ugafuku Shrine, popular as a shrine to improve your financial prospects. The water of a spring in its cave is said to be able to multiply the money washed in it! Its specialty sweet mochi balls on a skewer, Shichifuku Tokusei Kushidango, are 300 JPY for two. Enjoy their comforting, gentle sweetness.
