Sushigokoro Nakamura is a sushi restaurant that is particular about the use of the choicest fish and seafood from Hokkaido. Their much-loved lunch meals are the limited Higawari Bento (Daily Box Lunch) (850 JPY (incl. tax)), the Maguro Tekkadon (Vinegar Rice Topped with Raw Tuna) (1,200 JPY (incl. tax)), and the sets that mix hand-formed sushi and rolled sushi (three kinds of set meals available) that are priced from 780 JPY (incl. tax)). You can even ask for your meal to be upgraded to a meal that is good for 1.5 persons at an extra charge so you can enjoy the same ingredients as those served at night. This shop really has sets for a great bargain! During dinner, the price of hand-formed sushi sets (premium, with nine sushi pieces) starts at 2,000 JPY (incl. tax). Now if you also want to savor sushi, sashimi and ala carte dishes that lavishly uses seasonal ingredients such as the local awabi (abalone) and masu salmon in wine, then you would be looking at about 10,000 JPY to 15,000 JPY since these items are priced at the current market prices.

Here, a dinner of 12 hand-formed sushi pieces will set you back by at least 8,640 JPY (incl. tax). You need to prepare a budget of about 20,000 JPY if you want to properly enjoy sashimi and your favorite sushi items. However, you can try their high-class sushi at reasonable prices if you eat here during lunch. There are three sets of omakase (selection is chosen by the chef) hand-formed sushi courses available for lunch, comprising the Shun Course (8,640 JPY (incl. tax) for 12 pieces of sushi), Matsu Course (5,400 JPY (incl. tax) for 11 pieces of sushi) and Take Course (3,564 JPY (incl. tax) for 10 pieces of sushi). Note that these are high-quality lunch courses that will let you savor the deliciousness of carefully selected ingredients such as anago (conger eel), tsubukai (whelk), uni (sea urchin) and ikura (salmon roe).

This well-established sushi joint serves exquisite sushi items that can go head-to-head with the sushi found at high-class restaurants when it comes to taste. If you go to this restaurant for dinner, you would need to prepare about 4,000 JPY to 5,000 JPY. If you eat here at lunch, though, then you only need to pay 1,100 JPY for 10 pieces of hand-formed sushi. It’s really affordable! This sushi shop will give you a taste of the delicious fish and seafood found in Hokkaido, plus their sushi is quite filling as they contain a lot of rice. The modern sushi restaurant Sushi Natsume, which is located inside the complex commercial facility Akarenga Terrace, is a place where you can find great-value meals during lunch. During dinner, the set of Nigiri Sushi (Hand-Formed Sushi) costs 2,500 JPY (excl. tax) and the Omakase Course that will give you a taste of the delicious ingredients in season costs 5,000 JPY (excl. tax). But if you come for lunch, then you will be able to enjoy a slight discount on these courses as the price of the Nigiri Sushi Set will become 1,800 JPY (excl. tax) and the Omakase Course will drop to 4,500 JPY (excl. tax).
